Hi Mack!

We still poke our heads in every once in a while.   Most everyone on the WW Board has hooked up on Facebook.   I still have the Zs, although both are now quite senior:  Zora just turned 16 and Zeke is 15.   I guess Hannah and Willy are at the Bridge by now with Ivan?

Four kids?  Wow!  I remember when you and your wife had your first.    Our daughter is almost 14 now.

Fun to see the old board still here, though it appears there hasn't been a post since January. I haven't posted for the better part of a decade and a lot has happened -- but now married with four kids (two-legged kind) and a new set of furkids (sadly said goodbye to those who passed to Rainbow Bridge when last I was here) -- I thought I'd reintroduce myself.

I posted previously as Dachsmack, but I can't log in as such anymore -- I guess a long lost email address is the reason. So I'm Wheaten, named after the latest addition to our family, a 6-month-old wheaten wirehair dachshund named Buddy, who joins a chihuahua mix named Porkchop and a basset hound named Maisie. And a Flemish giant rabbit named Rosie. And a senior cat named Tiger. I think that's it!

Would love to hear if some of the old posters are still here.

It is horrible to wake up and find your little longhaired angel has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, sometime early this morning.  She didn't want to eat her kibble last night, although her canned Merrick's was eaten. I checked on her early this morning, having given her a small bowl of ice chips.  She passed sometime between 12:04 and 6:36 a.m. I know most of you can relate.

Run free with your brother, Fritz, and your sisters Heidi, Gretl, Siglen, and Sorcha, my beloved chocolate tan girl!
Health Concerns / Patches may have Nasal Cancer or something stuffed up her nose ?
« Last post by papbouv on August 21, 2016, 11:36:13 PM »
Patches she is 10 years old now, nose started bleeding about 3 weeks ago also sneezing 30-40 times in a day, took her to a vet checked blood to see if she had been poisoned blood work came back OK.Vet put her on antibiotics we did all of them. Now has a very light pink discharge, snores very loud, went to our regular vet he did not seem to think it was time to put her to sleep ? They talked of a Endoscopic test under anesthesia to see what is up her nose because she is only breathing on the left nostril other side clogged up with something or a tumor do not know ?    They also said it would be about $800.00 or more would have to go to a specialist  just on Social Security now change over from Disability does any one have any ideas that might help Patches. Unfortunately I do not have $800.00 I did have VIP Pet Insurance but when hubby fell in 2009 broke his neck did not think I could afford it any longer. I do have Care Credit but I'm paying $125.00 a month on it do not think I can go any higher on it.  Thank you for your time.
