Mitzi in San Diego needs a forever home

Very sweet approximately 4 year old mini red dachshund named Mitzi who needs a home.  She is currently living in San Diego, California. I've been fostering her for a couple of weeks.  She's incredibly loving, mellow, and gentle.  She is the perfect lap dog who only wants to be held and snuggled. I wouldn't recommend she be in a house with other dogs or small children as she tends to be possessive of toys and a bit fearful. This could possibly be resolved with behavioral training. I'm currently housetraining her and she's learning how to use a doggie door. She's crate trained and sleeps in it or on doggie bed without complaint. She's the perfect dog who needs a little extra love and will return it twofold.
