Helping at the Art Show

Mom's little cougar painting won 1st at the state fair over 244 entries. Plus it won People's Choice and it sold. :thumb: (new prezzies for meee!!) So we went to the awards night and as usual I helped her. We also went to dinner wif our friends.
First are me and Mom going up to get the award. Mom is laffin' because she had just pulled my harness off over my head and my hair was standing out every direction and Uncle John was desperately trying to smooth it down as we were walking up there.

Then yesterday Mom and I sat at the State Fair all day while Mom painted on a bear for everyone to see but I really think everyone came to see ME. If we charged a dollar a kiss I'd be rich now! :thumb:

Mom got tired so I helped her paint for a while.

Thats great Dee Dee, the one of her alone on the chair looks like "mom's gone for a bathroom break, she'''be back in a minute.........I hope" and the brush in da mouth "just take the photo mum I look silly"

We love the one with the brush in her mouth. It wouldn't surprise me if you were training her to paint!

Congrats on the award, Dee Dee. It's well deserved I'm sure. Loved all the pictures, especially the one of Hallie with the brush in her mouth. She seems to be saying if mom can paint then I can too! Thanks for sharing, always love your work.

Congratulations!!! You need to send a painting up to the Alaska State Fair sometime, and I will enter it for you. I think a ribbon from our fair would be a nice addition to your collection.

That's totally amazing, congratulations! And you are so sweet Hallie, first letting the people touch your beauty and being a lovely secretary while your Mom is resting!
