Many of you are familiar with The Pet Postcard Project. If not, take a look at the link - it really is an awesome project - sponsored by several companies who donate food, and shelters and rescues are awarded food...based on the submission of Pet Postcards !!! In addition to feeding homeless dogs and cats, card submitters have chances to win many awesome prizes !!!!

I am asking for your help for Jethro's Anipal Sanctuary, Inc. - a non profit organization that I helped found and now administrate. We are one of four teams that will benefit if the team submits 1000 postcards for Sept and Oct. If you just don't feel up to making the cards and submitting for Team Doxie Lovers - I would love to have you submit pictures to me to print, caption and make the cards !!!! I will submit in your name, so you will be eligible to win the prizes, and they will count towards our team goal !!!!

I have saved many pics over the years and if I don't see particular ones pop up here, I will e-mail and ask to use. A couple that come to mind right off the bat - the adorable Peter Parker picture in his sailor uniform and I have 2 precious pictures of David Cohen's Rudy with Sarah and with baby Jessica in a car seat. Many others of some of our puppers that have gone to the Bridge....

Anyhoo - would LOVE your help !!!! Post any pictures here that you would like for me to create or e-mail to me at anipalsanctuary @aol.com. If you are willing to make some cards and send them in yourself - I am thrilled - thank you so much !!!! Directions are included on their website and I am here for questions !!!!

I LOVE immortalizing our kids on postcards AND earning food for dogs and cats in need - YAY !

Barb I sent a invite for the pictures on Flicker and you can use any I have used on here too. If you use any that are show pictures really crop them so nothing but the dog is shown.

Not real sure of the in's and out's of this, but what about those pics with the "ugly doxie"(Mommy, pups and pinky(that baby pig mom was caring for).

It has to be photos of dog or kitties that you know..... that would be an adorable postcard or two though !

The picture I was thinking of was the one in that series of pics that got posted here, which had I think had 3 puppies with the baby pig snuggling up with them, so it was 3 puppies and the piglet. Or one of the ones with Mama doxie and the whole litter including the piglet. The original post we got was on 1/19/09 and I will confess, I made address labels with the 3rd picture. That has 3 pups and 1 piglet snuggled up with them.
If you go to the original post it would be the third picture.

But I am not sure where the pictures originated from, so that is why I was not sure about using it.

I have a couple of sort of funny pictures of Zeke, Zelda and Twinkie, but they are really old, and from an instamatic camera, so would have to really see if they would scan decent. Twinkie believed there was always room for her in any dog bed!! She sometimes went in as the upper deck of it!!

I am pretty sure somehow I had posted one of Twinkie but that was a couple years ago. But I have not reloaded a lot of stuff on my puter after having puter problems almost 2 years ago. most of my stuff that was in printmaster that I used for address labels did not all save when my puter crashed. so have to re edit them, and still have not reloaded printmaster on the current er.
