read the amazing things these folks have done for old, sick and "retired" circus and zoo elephants.  They really need some stuff, especially some big ole shovels. (no kidding.)  My old friend Dulary from the Philly Zoo arrived here 2 weeks ago.  I have been visiting her at the zoo for um, a loooooooooooooong time.

I really think this is a cool place and still can't believe it is in Tennessee. When Meghan and I were driving back after her graduation we were about 30 miles away from there and I told her that off to our west was an elephant sanctuary. Of course, she didn't believe me at first. Once I told her more about it, she thought it was pretty cool. Now you have reminded me to send her the link to it! I'll also look into making a donation to it. Also, I need to catch up on Dulary. I left on when she was about to arrive there and then things got crazy and I haven't gotten back to her diary.
