I know we all have them.  First it started off the beginning of September with Winston having back pain and placing him on medication and crate rest (which totally drove me crazy   Then four weeks ago me having allergies/sinus infection and taking meds, feeling totally miserable   :verdict:  Then mom started feeling worse than usual and now we are putting her through all these tests with the gastroenterologist.  :ambulance: In the meantime, Winston jumped on my ribs in bed last week and bruised them; i.e., they still hurt but now off the Tylenol 3 with Codiene.     So if that wasn't enough...this past Friday hubby was grinding metal at work (had safety glasses on) but a piece of metal STILL managed to get lodged in his eye...so...Saturday night/Sunday morning (after trying to take care of it ourselves) involved a trip to the emergency room to have metal piece scraped out of eye; antibiotic cream, pain pills, eye patch...etc...hubby didn't go to work today.  So far this evening eye feels better....sigh.  Seems like one thing after another.    :BangHead:   I am  :xfinger: that things settle down a bit now after mom's test on Friday.  Hubby and I hopefully will get the chance to get away this coming week-end for two days to go to the Covered Bridge Festival in Rockville, Indiana close to Terre Haute.  Phew!!  I feel better.  We all need a chance to vent now and then.   :thumb:

Oh my! Cheryl, I can totally relate. September was awful for us too.   I was looking forward to a break in October myself, but have yet to get it.  Hang in there.  Feel free to vent all you want.  I totally sympathize with you!    :comfort:     Still praying for your mom.   Sorry about your husband's eye.  Yikes that would be so scary and painful!!   I'm glad he's going to be ok.   Bruised bones take a few weeks to heal, so you should be on the mend real soon.   You sure have had a time of it.  :comfort:

I know you have had quite a September also....with Porky and yourself not feeling well, etc.  You hang right in there with me....okay? :thumb:  We can kind of "hang out...er...i mean "in" together"....haha.

Well so far October sucks for me!  Just found out my husband is the victim of identity theft, and can't get a job because of his criminal record in Florida.  Um...we have NEVER been to Florida!!     I'm trying to figure out what to do about all this today.  To be honest, I'm not really processing it that well right now, I'm still in shock and denial hoping that it is just a mixup.    :xfinger:

Between dealing with my sister in law with bipolar,  a witchy ladlord, being ill myself, and all the other drama, to add this on top is just getting to be too much to handle.  I booked a massage at a shop here in town.  And...I signed up for a free yoga class.  Maybe that will help me destress a bit.

Oh my Goodness!!!  You have every right to be overwhelmed!!!  My husband was mixed up with another Gary Anderson a few years ago when we refinanced our house.  They stated there was a lien against our house....NOT!!!!  It was a mess to straighten out...had to go to the Courthouse to file a report of mistaken identity.  And then with what happened with Porky today and you being sick....girlfriend....you need a stiff drink!!!  I hope everything works out for you fairly fast and October gets better.....

Thanks Cheryl!  I really hope all this gets fixed quickly too.  My husband is not a drug dealer in Florida or a child abuser or any of the other things the report said.   We are trying to get it all sorted out.

Cheryl,

Hi from an Indiana girl!  OK, I live in Iowa, but was born and raised in Indiana and was happy when Indiana beat Iowa in football.  I hope everything gets better for you.  Keep us posted.

Doxielady - We were the victims of identify theft several years ago.  I would start with contacting one of the big three credit agencies - Trans-Union comes to mind.  They should be able to help you or get you pointed in the right direction.

Thanks Mindy :thumb:  We got it all figured out, it was just a mixup of information sent to the company my husband applied to.  The background they were looking at clearly said FEMALE on the bottom. Last I checked, my husband didn't weigh 95 pounds, wasn't 4'11", and is NOT female.   :2funny:  Had the guy looked closer it would have saved us all a huge headache.  As far as the missing wallet goes, we reported it to the police and they are questioning all the employees that work at the place my husband was formerly employed at.  He quit when he told his boss about the theft and his boss' response was, "Oh Well, not my problem"    Hopefully the police can recover his wallet with all his identity information still in it.   There was only $20 in there that day so...i guess that's good. And we have no credit cards or anything like that to worry about being stolen.   :apls:

Hahahahaha....female?  95 pounds?  4'11"????   :verdict:  It only gets better and better, doesn't it.....Hopefully they will catch the rat who stole your hubby's wallet.....and hopefully hubby will be hired soon....that will be a relief for you!!  Thank goodness you had no credit cards to worry about....

Mindy, that you for the well wishes!!!  What part of Indiana were you born and raised in????  I actually am from Cinti, Ohio (Just a hop, skip and a jump from the Indiana line).....So I KNOW you know about the Covered Bridge Festival......ever gone??
