Hello everybody! I just very recently got a dachshund. She isn't pure bred but is more than 75% weiner dog! I have not yet choose a name for her...I want to get to know her 1st. Shes a lovely shorthair,red. Probably barely 2 1/2 months. I rescued her she was left on the porch of a friend and was heading to the pound until...of course I saw her and fell in love. I have owned 2 dachshunds before this one and I love the breed. Currently I have 2 labradors who are used to little puppies around and dont bother her. Im glad I found this board and hope to get to know you all better.

God bless you for rescuing your little one.  I have a rescued dachshund named Maisie and I'll never go to a breeder again!  (No offense to my other little girl Millie).  This is a great board, everyone is really nice and helpful.  Welcome!
