Porky here- I have spring fever!!!

Porky here-  Guess what?!  I had the bestest weekend ever!!  It finally got warm here so I got to go for a long walk for three days in a row.  Momma and Daddy couldn't keep up with me because I was so happy to be out in the sunshine!  On sunday, momma let me stay outside in the yard all day!!  I laid on our bench and soaked up all that  warm sunshine.  I fell asleep on my back with my legs in the air, so my belly turned a little pink.  On our walk I got to see my friends I hadn't seen in months!  Their names are itty bitty, Toto, momma dog, and killer.  All of them are Chihuahuas except Toto.  I was so happy to see them, I tried to give them kisses through the fence!   :2funny:  I like Itty bitty the best cause we are the same age and she kisses me back.   

Also on sunday, my grandma and grandpa came over.  Know what they brought me?   A new couch and loveseat that are so comfy!!!  Momma thinks they are hers, but we all know that they are really mine.   :wink:  I also heard them talking to momma about buying me a swimming pool for my front yard!!  I learned that I like to swim when we had our German shepherd friend stay with us for a week.  Sadie would pick me up in her mouth and put me in the stock tank full of water.  Then she would climb in with me.  It was a little crowded when she got in, but I loved swimming circles in there!  Sadie took good care of me while she was visiting us.  At first, the cold water scared me, but Sadie kept nudging me with her big nose to tell me I was okay.    Do any other daschies like to swim as much as me??  I can hardly wait for spring and summer so I can get more walks and soak up some sun!!

Dolly here-  Dude, don't ya know about TURN don't BURN?  Watch that tummy now, y'hear?  I loves to do the Doll Sprawl in the sun but I remember to turn so I don't get burnt.  Maddie, my sissy, is black and  tan.  Mommy says she's black cuz she got burnt.  She looks like a burnt hotdog. 

Now about getting put in Sadie's mouf?  I don't know 'bout dat!  SCAWWY!!!!!  Glad you wike to swim.

Dolly-  Yes it was pwetty scawyy getting picked up in Sadie's mouf!!!  But, once I learned she wouldn't  hurt me it was better. I think Sadie thought she was my furmomma.   I won't be falling asleep in that sunshine anymore I fink.... and if I do I'll remember to roll over like you told me.
