I was wondering...I am young and wasn't able to afford to get my buddy fixed, is it ok to do this at any time?

It is best to get him fixed as a young puppy (around 6 months or so), but you can get him fixed later than that if needed.  Just be VERY diligent about him getting out or having "access" to other dogs before he has his "big boy" operation.  He may also start marking (although this is not a given, it is a possibility) if you wait too long.  Some vets will work with you and let you pay them over a few months if they know your situation.  Talk to your vet and see if that would be an option.  There's no harm in asking afterall.

Hi Handsome!
A black and tan wire hair !!!! We LOVE WIRES

Check around.... there might be lots of places that will help with spay/nuetering $$.  We have a s/n task force here who do the surgery for little or no $$. and our local humane society offers a $30 certificate that most of our local vets will accept as part payment.

This link will take you to a list of low cost s/n clinics, and places where you can get vet services in the Seattle area.
