My Hounds

If anything was to happen to me.  I know my dogs could not be separated..........My Isis has heath problems and needs medical care.   My Indy has submissive problems.........but not with me... They are both great dogs but with the right person.   If anything happens, god forbid please help them find a good home.  They need to be kept together.  Thanks

I think many of us have that fear. You really need to make arrangements now if you can. I have a will and Hallie has awesome godparents and I am leaving pretty much everything I have for her care, so I know she would always be very much loved and cared for. It will be a huge weight off your mind if you found someone you trusted to care for them and keep them together, and you knew where they would be going. Do you have anyone in mind you can ask?

I certainly understand your concern .... I think this is something that all of us with furkids think about and hopefully plan for.
I am a bit worried about the tone of your email.  Hopefully I am off base, but if there is something going on that you need to share, the people on this board are always ready to listen.

I was thinking the same as Terri.  If something is going on you can tell us, or PM someone rather than posting it to the board.
I would line up someone who you trust to care for your furbabies in the event something happened, but I'd suggest that to anyone with pets.  My hubby and I are going to take Cajsa's sister if my grandparents get to the point they can't care for her.  I'm not really sure who would take care of Cajsa though.  That's not been determined and it needs to be.  Please let us know if we could help you with this.

Dogs tend to be more adaptable than us hoomans give them credit for.   Obviously, the ideal situation would be for both dogs to be together.   However, you'd be surprised how remarkably well they would adapt if they happened to be separated.   I think we're the ones who worry about our puppers getting broken up.
