The dogapult has struck the Willis house. Schatzi isn't so sure about it and I will write her own post later. Randy finally fulfilled his dream and got a French Bulldog pup. He is 8 weeks old and quite the handful. After ten years of not having a pup in the house, this is a new experience. He is fascinated by Schatzi's long ears and wagging tail! Please welcome Pierce T Fierce.

He is so smushy cute all those cute wrinkles I'm sure  Schatzi will have a run for the money when he gets a little older but she will be a big sister and teach him the ropes. Have fun.

We are so thrilled for you all. A long way to go till Pierce comes any way up to fierce.  Frenchies never make it to fierce anyway so reckon he has to modify his name to cutiepie, sorry Randy....So lovely to see them snuggling too.

Five weeks in and the adjustment has gone quite well. They are best buddies most of the time. Pierce has done one thing. I hoped he would-bring Schatzi's playful side out again. She was acting like a little old lady lately. Now she will instigate the wrestling matches just as much as he will. She now plays with toys more than she ever did, which means if Pierce gets one, Schatzi gets one! Our biggest challenge is getting her to not take the stuffing out of HIS toys. He likes them stuffed!! So far, she has taught him to use the doggie door and walk on the leash. I fortunately, she is trying her best to teach him to bark at the neighbors!!
As for being fierce, he really does try! You should just hear him when he is wrestling with Schatzi! But then he snuggles up beside her or gives us those sweet soft kisses and the fierce is gone!

So glad to hear the adjustment is going so well.  They sure look like the best of buds in your second pic.  Thanks for sharing.  Loved seeing them.
