ollie's back legs have a tad of arthrtis now, so his strategy is to get me to carry him down the hill to the flat.................how does he do it ...by sitting and not moving, si its easier to pick him up rather than walk back up the hill to get him. Then when its time to go home you run down to the gate, and perhaps dad will be there with the car, if not apply what you do on the way down the hill...............old dogs and new tricks

The old "who trains who" routine!   LOL.

Actually, Zeke is in the same boat with Ollie.    Zeke just parks himself until someone picks him up to take him into the yard or back into the house.   Zeke has become quite the crotchety old man as he approaches his senior years...far more so than either Rudy or Max were, and nowhere near Zora, who still bounds about like a spring chicken.
