Parker has tumbled

Dis is Parker.  Dere was a pool party on Saturday at my house and I fell off the deck. Momma took me to da emergency hospital and I am on crate rest and drugs. Nothin is broken but I'm bruised  I am getting lots of lubbin but I wish I was feelin better. I can't eben protect my yard anymore like Porky does. Perhaps Porky could swing by and patrol. Weinerfest is this weekend, but Momma says no race for me. I'm still goin but I hab to stay in day wagon. Momma says I'm lookin better today. Me and Patches are two sorry wittle puppers.

Dude! Yous gotta be careful!!!  Those decks are scary fings.  I teached my mama to carry me up and down da stairs on our porch so I don't get owies.  Hope you heal up fast!!!    Man, sounds scary falling off a deck,like falling off a mountain!  Iffen my body guard duties were not required here, I would come up dere and protec' your house.  Want me to send Dottie (da neighbor's border collie?)  She is super nasty to invaders.  I'm eben scared of her! :crazyeyes:

dis is Parker: I am doin better every day. Don't tell Momma though   I'm getting lots of attention and snugglin. Momma is eben comin home at lunch time for a bit and Daddy comes home too sometimes.  I didn't really fall off a mountain, just down 2 steps off da bottom deck. Last year I fell in da pool tryin to get a ball. Dat was weally scarry. I'm not a berry good swimmer and da water was cold. I always learn my lesson. Now I stay away from da edge of da pool, an I don't fink I will be doin stairs no more. Momma didn't like me on da stairs but I always waited till she wasn't lookin and den I would sneak down them. Daddy might build a ramp for da lower deck where I fell. I fink I would like a ramp. Momma will just have to carry me down to da lower deck now.

Schatzi says you would love a ramp. She has one that she even lets the humans use, When we built a new side porch,  we were going to build a ramp beside the steps so Randy's dad could use it. Our builder suggested just having the ramp. Best idea ever. It is so much easier to use when taking food down to the patio or taking stuff off the porch that needs to be cleaned up. I will have. To post a picture when I am on my laptop later.
I hope Parker is feeling much better now!
