Porky here:  I am on high-alert dis week.  I has to be da man of da house until Friday and protect my mama from all da scary things till my daddy gets home from his werk thingy. We hate it when he has to go away, but I think I'm doing a pretty good job.  I already getted a scorpion, (dont worry, dey are the tiny ones) one spider and I herded 3 millers out the door.   YES!!   :headbang:  I'm a tough guy.   My mama is scared of them scorpion things and says they are ugly!!  As long as we don't see a Jerusalem cricket or snakes I think we will be okay till daddy comes home.  Mama doesn't like when I dissect those ugly crickets.   :dontknow:   Oh, and just to make sure our house is safe, I'm walking da perimeter of the yard at least 3 times daily and give my meanest, nastiest barks to warn the neighborhood to stay away.   I did a good job scaring away that pizza guy, but for some reason mama was NOT happy with me for that and I gots kennel time until he left.  " Hello mom, He was an intruder!!!"  I just don't get it.     I did skimp on my duties and run away FAST when I saw those big monsters my mama calls "Pretty deer".  I fink she's crazy, they looks scary to me!  Oh, and our neighbor's naughty little kitties keep coming in my yard and trying to cuddle me.  I just let them snuggle on the porch with me cause I'm a good neighbor.  I give them one more month and then I'll chase them outta my part of the yard.  I make sure their "dad" knows he cannot come in MY yard to get them unless he pays the toll.  (two treats)   I think I'm a pretty good body guard for my mama.

Sounds like you are doing a good job guarding your mama, Porky.  Keep up the good work and don't let any of those critters get you!!!  I think 2 treats is a reasonable price for admittance to the yard, so if he give you any problems just let your mama know.  Thanks for the post, keep 'em coming.
