Happy 15th. Birthday little boy!
I love you!!!

Hi Everyone,
Alex was actually 15 years old on January 9th.  I forgot to post it.  Things have been crazy in my life.  Over that past year my four sisters and I have juggled our schedules to include lots of time with our dad.  He is 88 and at a point where he needs to have someone around him all the time.   So we sisters take turns on "Dad Watch", spending time with him at his home in Yuma, AZ, and at his cabin in Willow, Alaska.  Dad recently fell and two weeks later we found out his neck was broken at C-1.  By the grace of God, dad is not paralyzed.  The neck appears to be healing on its own.  Dad has to wear a cervical collar for 2 months.  He is back home.  My hubby Dan is with him.  Dan went down to Yuma to spend three weeks with dad, to cover a gap between sisters.  Dan got more than he bargained for but he has been an absolute saint taking care of dad.  In fact, Dan asked me to cancel his return trip home, which was supposed to happen on the 22nd.  Dan feels dad needs extra care and he wants to stay with him.  Another sister is showing up on Monday, for three weeks, then another sister arrives the first part of February.  We're looking to have Dan home mid-February.  All of us are planning to be in Yuma in March.  Dan has made sure all of us do not worry about our dad nor him, saying he is honored to be taking care of our dad.  I am honored to have such a kind, caring and self-less guy for a husband.

It's hard to believe that Alex is now 15.  We've followed him since he was a puppy...and at that point, Harry-angel was 15, so the circle has come around.

Hoping your Dad continues onto a successful recovery.   I think his generation was made out of some pretty tough material, so I'm sure he'll be okay.  Kudos to Dan for being there for him, too.

Congrats on making this milestone Alex!!  You're looking darn good for 15.
There's nothing like having a dachshund tongue up your nose at 3 a.m.

Patty, I tell you, DAN IS A KEEPER!!  You both are so good to your daddy.  I can't believe Alex is 15.  NO WAY!!!  Do you realize that I started writing on this board over 13 years ago?  I remember when Alex and Willy were TWO!!!  Keep on lovin' that sweet Alex boy.  He looks so darn good for his age!  Maybe he and Bonnie (age 14) should get together.....hhahahahaha.

Keep on trucin' sweet Alex boy!

Yep, Harry bridged the gap between the old and the youngsters.  Hard for me to believe Alex is 15.  The full circles on these guys happen too quickly.
Its great seeing you still posting on this board, David C.  How old is your daughter now???

Jessica is 9 now and growing like a weed.   She's already 4 feet, 6 inches and likely on her way to being the tallest female in our family's history.  Of course, that's not saying much, we're pretty small people!

Happy Belated Birthday Alex!!  I agree with Roberta and think you deserve extra eggies for her "forgetfulness."  Hope all goes well with your mama's Dad, and you remind me a lot of my Solomon. He was only 11 when he left, and I still miss my boy.
Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.
