White Dachshunds

Notices an ad in the Tulsa World showed a picture of a white Dachshund pup ? thought it must be a back yard breeder selling the pups at 6 weeks. Old wish they would pass a law making them wait until they are 8 weeks old they learn so much from their moms & siblings.

It sure is a BYB.  "White" Dachshunds are double dapple, and if these are not either deaf or blind (or both), they'll have another plethora of problems which are not yet apparent, but will be soon.

Wondered about being blind & deaf it sure is a shame people just put two dogs together get pups to make monies hope they will get there just rewards in the hereafter feel sorry for the pups.

They might be piebald-there are BYB breeding for the so called "extreme" piebald, meaning they are mostly white with just a few patches of color.  They definitely do not adhere to the breed standard, which finds only a small patch of white on the chest acceptable, but not desireable.

Poor little dogs breed for profit, hope the authority there be alarmed..

Sorry but Oklahoma is too backwards to care about puppy mills, by breeders and such. Tried to pass some laws but the politicians must get a kick back they let people sell puppies at 5-6 weeks old, at road side areas by shopping area they just do not care.
