ears hot to touch ?

Patches was in her crate for about 2 hours and a half ( she peed on daddy s bed so back in the crate when we leave ) got home let Patches & Buddy out then back in to eat a late dinner for them.Patches ate then watched me fix a snack watched me eat then jumped up on the water bed via Buddy's bed.I reached over to pet her her ears felt hot ??? She had her ears cleaned and a bath yesterday so her ears are clean inside. Very careful not to get water in her ears use a white vinegar and alcohol mix to clean ears, used a dryer via vacuum cleaner that sucks air in and blows air out its a small shop vac works great for a dog dryer cheaper too.Wonder if anyone has come across hot ears  on a Dachshund  before ? also there is a ceiling fan near Patches crate it is a plastic crate was in the 60's or 70's today misty out.Not hot outside at all.

Is she scratching at them like they hurt?  Might see how she is tomorrow and get to the Vet.  How's her nose?

Ears are fine just a quirky thing I guess she is eating & doing her business fine acts fine too.Took a look & a smell in her ears they are fine now too have no idea why they were hot may have got too hot in the crate she does not like to have to go to the crate. Of course if she would not get in the trash and pee on human Daddy's bed would not have to go to the crate in the first place.She only does that when we are not home so makes it hard to give her any corrections does not do it when we are home.
