Aww RATS! I mean mice!!!

Yesterday, I found that a mouse had invaded my desk, ate part of a Pop-Tart and left chewed up paper and other "goodies."  I got three desk drawers cleaned out, and called Maintenance to come over with some of those glue-type traps, and I set one near the desk drawers I had cleaned out. I also put a single peanut in the middle of the trap to entice the mouse.  When I came in this morning, the trap was gone.  I sure hope Housekeeping came through, saw it with a mouse inside and got rid of it for me!  If not, I don't want to know the size of the creature that invaded my space!!!!

Today, I opened two desk drawers that I rarely use that store about 100+ files and found that the mouse had been there too.  It chewed up the side and tops of some fairly important documents.  I'm so frustrated so I just shut the drawers and am going to wait until Friday (casual jeans day) to clean those two drawers out.

I have put another trap down, just in case we didn't get the mouse yesterday.

What a way to start the year!!!

Well, at least it wasn't at your house?  You can always leave your office afterall, but at home you'd have to sleep wondering if the mouse was still "out there" watching you!  lol 
Hopefully the mouse has been removed from your desk though.
