Its been a very long time since my last posting but I felt the need to post today.

He just wasn't himself the past couple of weeks and when his breath started to have an unpleasant odor I got concerned and took him to the vet. They vet knew right away that something wasn't right.

My best friend Simon had an abscess removed from his lower jaw this morning. In all he had to have four front teeth removed to make sure it was completely removed. He just came home and is sleeping in his bed.My buddy will have to take antibiotics to make sure that no infection returns.

I'm looking at him right now and his tail is already wagging! My little wiggly is going to be fine thank God!

Very glad to hear there is a positive outcome for the little guy. Remember what they used to say in WWII: "Keep Calm and Stay Low."  for Simon
Shakespeare : "To thine own self be true."
Popeye:  "I yam wot I yam."

"My little wiggly".  LOVE that!!!  I'm glad Simon is well on the road to recovery.  Resilient little boogers, aren't they?  Get well rays to Simon.

Sending Rays & Hugs to Simon for a speedy recovery one thing about small dogs you have to brush their teeth everyday keep an eye out in their mouths. Buddy not a Dachshund but he had to have oral surgery a few months ago.

Barb

Sending tons of rays for him to feel better !!!  I know he will after getting the nasties out !!!

He was a little mopey yesterday but he's back to being himself. We're getting our first real snow today and he wants out in the worse way...he loves playing in the snow.I'm going to take him out in a bit and let him have a little play time but not too much yet.

I'm always amazed as to how quickly these little guys recover. Parker had 8 teeth pulled and didn't fuss a all. Way to go Simon.

dis is Parker: don't fuss Simon, you will still be able to fetch da ball and gobbles up da kibbles. I can eben chew bone eben doh I dont have my front teef.
