Twelve years ago today....

Twelve years ago today, a black and tan dachshund boy was born..... I did not meet him until he was 13 months old, when he was dropped off at the no-kill shelter - Operation Kindness..the same day that my ex-husband and I went to adopt a dog. Long story short (long story will come on his Gotcha Day).....he came home with us that day. That boy is my Rudy.... my heart dog, and the one who began my journey and obsession with dachshunds, and who helped me meet so many wonderful animal people. I Love you my Rudy, it actually brings tears to my eyes.... Happy Happy Birthday !
