I just wanted to take a census of how many Senior Weiners we have on the board right now.   I'm defining a Senior Weiner as 12+ years old.   I own Max, currently the seniorest of the seniors on the board at 16 years, 10 months.   I know Mack's Ivan is about eight months younger than Max, but how many other seniors are out there?

Here's a picture of Max taken back in September snoozing away.  The bulge on his back is a lipoma...ugly, but harmless.   Max has a whole bunch of them around his ribcage...so many that we've nicknamed him "Grandpa Lumpy".

Rich

Stormy will be 13 in March.  You'd never know it.  He still charges around here like a freight train.  We think it's because Sophie keeps him active.

Marcia from MI

Sam turned 14 at the end of November and still has enough energy to keep the kitties in line.

Dee from some one who said goodbye lately yes, it went by in a moment, the beat of a heart. We started of with a tar tar and ended up with a snuggle bunnie.
All you seniors keep going, snooze and be happy you have earned it. Max you are an olie but goldie.

Clifford will turn 12 in May 2006.

Jeri

Leopold is 13 (or something like that).  He had his leg aputated due to cancer last month, but is feeling fine and frisky now.  We still don't know if that cancer has spread, but we are praying for the best.

Merion

My baby Zack will be 12 in March.   Now it feels like he is too close in age to Zeke and Zelda,  but it sure didn't seem like it when we were waiting for some puppies.

My sweet baboo, Piddleman was 11 when he went to the bridge. If it had not been for that nasty cancer we might still have him and be getting ready to celebrate his 13th birthday.
Here's a picture of him w/ my dd, Jessica when he was but a lad. And yes, that is a jean jacket and a visor he is wearing! Jessica loved to dress him up! He was OH SO GLAD when she had her first baby and started dressing him up instead! lol
Some day I hope to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am!!
