1st Doctor's Appointment

Drew and I went to my first Drs appt today! Looks like I am 6 1/2 weeks along and due around August 24th...I have my sonogram next week to confirm that day. Otherwise everything else looks good - I think we exhausted the doctor asking so many questions

Congratulations!  You will be due really close to April's baby Morgan's second birthday.  I think Elf was born on 8/27/04.

I hope you get to see a nice healthy heart-beat blinking away in the ultrasound next week.  It's an amazing thing to see.

Woo Hoo - how exciting !!!!  You need to start taking pictures of you standing sideways, with your shirt pulled in tight across your tummy - so we can watch your tummy grow !!!!

LOL Barb!  I don't think I did that but I did take pics of my tummy the last month.  Elf was born on 8/25 and her EDD was the 23rd so anything can happen.  (Her original EDD was the 12th of August but it was adjusted 2 weeks after my first U/S.)

This is exciting.  How are you feeling?  Here's for tons of pictures from the U/S!  They are really neat!

I am actually feeling great - My back is bothering me a bit, but other than that doing good. My Dr's computer system is down so I have to call tomorrow to get my u/s appt!! I am looking forward to it. Here is a pic of me last Wednesday that Drew took - it is a pretty bad pic...I was tired (and my pants were sagging a bit:), but it gives me a starting point on pics. I was 5 and 1/2 weeks.
