doing OK here in PA Barb...my old Victorian home is still standing..although I didn't think it would be...the whole top story moved back and forth  and sideways.. I could hear the studs creaking and cracking...was not a nice sound!  Gee we just got over a tornado a couple months ago...I thought "here we go again"...

We're tightening up the chinstraps.  Looks like this may be a repeat of Isabel from 2003.   At least my wife isn't 9 months pregnant this time around!   The storm hit on September 17th - 18th.  Margie's due date was the 19th.  I distinctly remember watching the water rise in our backyard.   When it looked like it was about to lap up to the foundation, the rain abated enough for the water to run off.

After the storm, I had band jobs on the 19th, 20th and 21st.   In the wee hours of the 22nd, Margie's water broke and 13 hours later Jessica came into this world.   Jessica had impeccable timing!

I grew up in Connecticut and only one time I can remember a "HURRICANE" coming. They dismissed school early;I was either in third or fourth grade. The worse part during the storm was that my Dad was in the navy on a destroyer and during the storm his ship had to go out to sea.
