another question of the day does your long hair go curlie for a while?

My pair got bathed yesterday as the temp hit higher than 35 C. Could not remember which one loved to roll in dirt after bathing.... I usually wash that one last........you guessed it I picked wrong OLIVER. Clever boy had two baths.

Both of them go curlie curlie Amy is twice the size with them, no matter the brushing and combing its spazo hair for a few days. I suppose it's till the oil comes back, but what curlie buts.

Hallie gets extra soft and shiny but no curls. I do blow dry her but even when she gets soaked in the rain and dries off naturally she doesn't curl. LOL poor Ollie must have thought that was a bum deal, two baths in the same day! Funny boy.

Oh Roberta they look so cute with all the curls.  Eddie just gets curls on his ears  and if we aren't careful the curls turn into knots.

A friend of mine use to raise and show dachsies years ago.  She once told me that they used cream rinse on the dogs after a bath then put a nylon stocking on them to get the waves from appearing.  She never did tell me how they put the stocking on so I can't help with that.

I do love them when they are curly or wavy I think Eddie looks so cute when his fur waves up.

My guys don't curl but they get really soft and rather puffy looking for a few days ... i always try to bath them 2 days before a show to give the puff time to settle.    Nicks brother Lucas (who i get the pleasure of puppy sitting on occasion) has quite the curly coat especially since he has been neutered.

LOL! Buelah gets really curly after her bath as well.  ESPECIALLY around her....bottom half!
