 Amy seems to have a little matty bit on her tail near her but, so everyother day we tousle it out much to madams distaste. Then it dawned on me why..................that tail never stops wagging even when she is sitting it goes, so its the rubbing while sitting thats doing it. The trials  of a long hair........................

I know, Roberta, long hairs do not have a nice time with their matted hair, do they?  I also have a l/h, and it's a pain.  Hope Amy is feeling better now  :apls:

:thinik: Tell her to look on the bright side - you could comb out all her hair, then put it up in ridiculous top knots like poodles and shih tzus do between dog shows! :2funny:

When I had Bouvier s I used Cowboy Magic in their beards worked well also have used it on a Papillon but they usually do not have mat s, have used it on Patches also. Comes in a tube also makes hair very shinny has a silk protein in it I think usually get it where they sale horse stuff. You just squeeze a little out rub it into the mat and just work it out a little at a time with the tine of a comb or  what you use with a mat but of course sometimes you just have to cut it out but the Cowboy Magic really helps.
