10 years ago today Hallie and Rich and Deb's Sophie were left during the night at an animal shelter (and another little smooth boy). We'll never know who did it or why but thankfully they did and didn't dump them on the road somewhere. It is nuts to think it's been 10 years and the girls have sweet little gray faces! I guess that means we're 10 years older too... :crazyeyes:  I've gotten nothing but total love and devotion every day of the last 10 years and I'm sure Rich and Deb feel the same.

NO WAY!!!! Ten years??? Are you sure?  Yeeesh, time flies.  I remember thinking that DD was never going to take a chance on another little furball.  What a wonderful day when Hallie came into her life!

Sophie, you're just as special and I hope you had a very special treat for your gotcha day.  You're beeeeeautiful!

I'd almost forgotten how closely Hallie and Sophie's and brudder's gotcha day was to so many other important days  - like my dad's and godson's birthday, for example.

Unfortunately time flies when we're having fun... or even when we're not.  These babies grow old way too fast.

I must say Miss Hallie does not look 10!!!  So hard to believe.  Happy Gotcha day Miss Hallie, and Dee Dee, don't forget the EGGIES!!!
