Poor Trissy is not feeling at all well tonight. His breathing is awfully laboured, he has a cough and is too wiped out to move (hard to tell I grant you lol).

We went to see the vet and he just lay like a floppy dog against my chest and didn't even try to hide. He has a fever and the vet thinks he has a sore throat as his lymph glands are a bit enlarged under his jaw. His tum was very noisy too so he may have a stomach upset. Poor little man paid no attention to the vet tonight and didn't bat an eyelid when he had antibiotic and pain killing injections.

Fingers crossed he will be feeling much better by morning. He is lying on my lap snoring with Ivy snuggled up beside him.

I think all of the attention being on Ivy after her little op made him feel quite unwell lol.

Poor Trissy.  I sure hope the medications help him.  This is very sad, indeed.  Load of dachsie rays coming to you from across the pond.

Oh no, poor Trissy, we are really sorry to hear this and hope he - and you- had a good nights sleep and he is much better this morning.  Poor little fellow must have been feeling absolutely rotten to let the vet do all that and not be peturbed.  We do hope it is just a passing upset and nothing to do with his little lumps and bumps.

Please let us know how he is so we can stop fretting.
All our love from the whole crew.

Mr T is looking much more like himself this morning. He wolfed down his breakfast and checked Ivy's dish just in case she missed a bit. Hopefully he is on the mend now and feels much better.

I hate that feeling at the vets where you're feeling a bit anxious and start to think about things too much. LOL I was sitting there telling him not to even think about checking out time and trying hard to suck the tears back into my eyes. I know you all know that feeling. However, he is bright and alert and my happy wee boy this morning, phew! xxxxxxx

What a relief, now we can breathe again too,  we know exactly what you mean about the feeling at the vets and that awful racing mind.  Keep up the good work, wee man, your Mummy needs you around for a loooooong time - and so do we.
