first sort of chilly day. We have a friend who is in hospital  up in Melbourne so Jane and I decided we would send her photos of her dog Ruby Rose and things of home every day to keep her spirits up. So as my mother was down the hill cleaning Janes place I decided to take the monsters to the post office then stop at Janes and see mum and let them play with their cousins for a bit. A. Barked up a storm when I went into the post office, thank the Lord we live in a country town, B spent and hour at janes, was in the house saying my goodbyes to mum, when we both smelt something....................Amy had rolled in FOX POO AND FRESH HORSE POO...............I still had to put her in the car. We cut a hole in one of car rugs stuck her head through and wrap her up so she could not move in her crate.......................even with the windows open ......................and what is worse is I had just finnished the weekly clean so I had to do the laundry again so Auntie Dee your collar clip was greatly appriciated.
I just cannot get the smell out of my hands.

:2funny: That's so gross, Amy!!  At least you had fun I guess.  I'm not sure your mama appreciated it though.  Try some vinegar and lemon for getting the stink off your hands.  It won't totally eliminate the smell, but it will help mask it a bit.

Oh Amy!  You are a silly girl and the boys here are sayin' "Go Amy!"  Roberta, I'm sorry but I had to chuckle about it!  We're glad that the tag releases did their job!  By the way, I so love the quarters you sent of the Abiriginal fabric that I found a quilt shop in Texas that sells the fabric and I am going to get more to make a quilt and wall hanging.  Just need to find the pattern that I want to use!  Dee

Eeeeuuuuuwwwweeeee.  Now we feel queasy too.
Washing hands under running water whilst touching stainless steel helps, followed by bicarb mixed with lemon and soap, don't know if same process works on hairy princesses....

The next time I want to fuss at Schatzi for rolling in dog or cat poop, I will remember that it could be a lot worst! I think Amy is lucky she is still "long of hair" and it wasn't shaved out today-just to make sure all the smell was gone!

Way to go Aims!  I loves to roll roll roll.  A walk is not a walk unless I can roll on a worm or bird poop.  Sometimes, if da hooparents are watching, I chew on the worm I just rolled on!

Amy, you're KEWL!
