latest DD and Hallie update

Hallie is still asleep. Vet said he cannot do the intraocular treatment because her retinas are 'too chewed up.' He didn't say anything about her heart. Pancreas will have to wait until she's having an attack (vomiting, diarrhea) and get blood work done then. Kidneys he will tell her when she picks her up.

How very sad. DeeDee can't seem to catch a break. She will need all our support now.

I'm glad someone is with her and Ms H. Prayers will be coming.

Poor girls.  They've had a rough few weeks..  Many rays and prayers headed Hallie and Dee Dee's way.

Roberta, DD's stepmother is with her and Hallie. They don't have internet access while travelling. She called me with an update. Since I was so anxious to hear from her, I know ya'll would want to know asap also. As soon as I heard from her I wanted to let you guys know too.

I have poor writing skills so I lack the words to adequately convey how deeply this news saddens me.  What do you do? what do you say? how do you act when your guardian angel falls sick and your powerless to stop whats coming?
