Alex has what looks like a stye on his lower lid.  Do you guys know of anything that might help?

I remember getting warm compresses when I had a stye as a kid.   Zora and Max-angel had them on the upper lid.   Both ran their course and went away.

Thanks, David, for your input.

Poor Alex. Does it seem to hurt? The warm compresses is a great idea. I used that on Hallie's bum when she had an anal sac abscess. Hope it clears up soon! Love that sweet face of his!

You can use a warm compress of home made eyewash. A pharmacist can find the Boric Acid powder for you and you mix it with sterile tap water. Boil one quart of water and add one tablespoon of boric acid; let it cool; use with a clean cloth compress on the eye and give bacon by mouth, two strips per session. (Nurse Zuzu made me add that part   ).

Poor baby.  We too use the boric acid compress like Leslie and Zuzu - but never with bacon.  Isn´t bacon supposed to go make everything better? We think crispy fish strips help too.  Hope he is better soon.

Poor little guy.  I hope it's much better today.  Please let us know how he is doing.
