Cocoa needs a sweater!!

Hi,
Can anyone tell me where I can get sweaters for my 2 mini longhaired doxies? I have tried every where, but they are all too short. If the length is right, the sweater just fall off of them. I can't stand to watch them shiver when they have to go outside.  Please help!!!

I know there's a dachsie person here who has a business of making sweaters for our long dogs.  Who is it?  I can't remember her name.  Sandra?  Cheryl?  Can anyone help here?  ALSO, you might want to check out   Dachshund Delights.  I think they may have sweaters for dachsies.

I don't make sweaters as of yet...haven't had time to knit them up but I do make "coats" along with harnesses but here's a couple pics of what I do...my girls really don't need to wear these because they're California girls..email me if you'd like more info...they velcro at the neck and underneath at the chest..you don't have to put it over their heads...

For something quick and easy, I made sweaters from old sweat pants.  I used the elatstic part at the ankle for the neck and just measures how long I wanted them to be and cut them off and then I cut a "dip" on the underside for potting purposes (more so for Max than the girls).  Then I firured where their front legs would need to come out and cut two holes and Viola!  sweaters in a matter of a few minutes.  Every time they wear them (which isn't often in South Texas) some one asks me where I got the little doggie sweat shirts.

Nikki, I like your idea!  This might work for Willy who is allergic to anything green.  I'd hate to have to hold him back from going on walks at our new place.
