Rolling, Rolling, Rolling.......

Since day 1, Kirby has the obnoxious habit of rolling in dirty underwear every chance he gets.  Now before you all think we leave our laundry all over the house, this is NOT the case.  He drags them from wherever he can reach, so we have learned to be diligent about putting them in a basket above his reach.  He doesn't roll in anything else, dirty or clean.   :scratch: Oh, except seagull poop - but thankfully there is not much of that inside our house.  LOL

Today I took a mental health day off of work, and was cleaning around the house.  I put the gate up at the end of the stairs so the dogs wouldn't race up and down them after me.  On one of my trips down, I see Kirby rolling big time on something white (can't make it out from the steps) - and I am thinking - @*@&*@& did I drop underwear??? 

Come to find out he is rolling on AND very obsessed with a Downy Lilac Fresh Fabric Softener Sheet!       Think I could convince him to do this between baths??

I think he may be smelling it on your underwear, although used.  Smart boy!!

LOL - how cute !!!  A couple of mine will do that if one sticks to their blankies...Toby just chews them

It must be something in the dryer sheet.   Rudy & Max used to roll on them when they'd find them in my laundry pile.   I completely forgot about that until you brought it back up here.   They used to love to jump into my laundry piles when they came out of the dryer and just burrow into the warm clothes.

Call me silly but I love to see Dachsies roll, as long as it isn't in something too gross.  I bet Kirby looked adorable!!!

My Bonnie LIVES and LOVES to roll.  She will always find something "delicious" to roll on or in on our walks.  She always has such a happy grin on her face when she's rolling.  Her preference are worms (dead or alive) but she usually doesn't roll ON them, she rolls NEXT to them.

Have heard the dryer sheets helps get rid of fleas ? at least he rolled on something that smells good most dogs do not hope he continues.

ROFL! Love it! Penny has the same affection for dirty underwear. It is gross gross gross. She just waits for me at the bottom of the stairs when I bring the laundry down and then she attacks the dirty laundry looking for underwear. so gross!! here's the proof!

ROTFL! Maybe Kirby heard that fabric sheets reduce static cling. (I rub them on Hallie for that). They also keep away bees and who knows...maybe they give you superpuppy powers to leap onto the counter for left out roast beast!

Maybe Kirby and Penny should get together for a play date and see who can get the most undies!  Love the pic of Penny.........I agree with DeeDee....she looks good in pink!  When my two get a hold of a dryer sheet, they will take them and bury them in their blankies......guess to make them smell like lavender!!  Gotta love our furkids and all their antics!!!!!
