We know you are out in the wilds of OZ, but I wanted to know if you heard anything about the cyclone - did you see the Wicked Witch of the West or the Wizard.

Thank you for thinking of us............we are down at the bottom under the U in Melbourne, but we are about to get the aftermath of it, glorious RAIN. All we had was a bush fire about 10 mile up the road from us.......now that was scarey if the wind had changed, and we have the smoke from that around to-day, it took three days to get under control. Funny thing was I was meant to go on a walk with the community group, but we decided as it was to get to about 42C we'd cancel it, well if we had gone we would have been trapped as they closed the highway.
The problem is the other side of the state has been flooded so they ar enot looking forward to this.
Queensland is devastated, first the rain then the floods mid last month and now the cyclone and some of the flooded areas are back flooded. in November last year Brisbanes dames were at nearly empty they were on highest water restrictions wihin a month they are over a hundred percent.

Roberta I love the way you explain where you live - Under the U in Melbourne. Here in Michigan we use the palm of our hands to give directions around the Lower Peninsula - I live in the fleshy part below the thumb. And it does sound very scary - stay safe.
