Hallie's Winter Sun

Hallie LOVES to lay on our "poormans" chaise lounges (they ain't purty but their comfy) in the back yard in the summer in the sun (while I do paper work or stuff bags). So for Christmas I got her a heat lamp like they have at outdoor restaurants so we could still lay outside during the winter. We gave it the maiden voyage today, she loved it, she curled right up and took a long snooze next to me. Only snafu was as I was sitting there bagging little steel weights, my hand closest to the lamp is now a few shades redder than the other.

But all we need now is an acre of short smooth grass with a covered dome and temperature controlled and we won't care if it's summer or winter! :thumb:

I better not tell da boys about Hallie's winter sun! They'll be out hitchhiking to the west side to visit you! We're jealous.......it is artic cold here with temps in the teens/20's with wind from the North! And, tomorrow night has been desingated for winter storm watch.....we are suppose to get snow.....or just 10 inches or so! Just get the decks and ground patio cleared and okay for the boys and the snow comes again! Oh well......

where is the sun glasses and the champers wee one. I can picture mum answering the door in her bikini......................
Wish we were there, we're inside with the air on with you hairy twin lying on her back panting after chasing lizards for an hour in 29C and very humid.

Mine will be packing to come up north if they find out it's a sun lamp! We have been around 39 in the morning, and for a week, I don't think our highs were much above 41, AND we were dismally cloudy! (So much for sunny CA!) Simply irresistible and adorable!

Hey, Hallie....all we can say is Mom and Dad won't even let us out in the snow as it was -8 this morning here in Colorado. We had to go on our pee pee pads (Pooch Pads - the best invention EVER, says Mom). Did your Mom put sunscreen on your noze??? We understand she has one paw, er, hand a different color than the other!
