The healing process begins

I know that Sol is in a better place, but I keep thinking he will pop his head up or bark at something (oh how he hated commercials with doorbells or dogs on!).  The sadness here is great - Kirby and Max even seem sad.  Kirby has been walking around looking for Sol which just breaks my heart.  I've gotten so many well-wishes and phone calls, King Sol was sure loved. 

So, as part of my healing process I am going to collect all the pictures I can of Sol and make a photo book of his life.  Heck, I may even have to write captions!  LOL.

I started gathering tonight - and found one I want to share.  By the time the book is done you will all be sick of me!

I would caption this photo "Just....look away.  I'm tellin' ya, if you know what's good for ya you will just look away...."

A great idea, Sue, we can never tire of pics of Sol and your captions.  He had so much character and deserved his title. Poor little Kirby looking for him. It is good he has Max as an extra distraction.

It is a healing process for sure. Sometimes I wonder why we get pets, because at some point we know it will end in heart break, and yet we do it. You have to know he is in a better place, and one day you will remember all the joy, smiles, and good times you both had. Take care.........Kelly
