Hi, Everybody!  We haven't posted anything for a long time, so I thought I would update Paddi's condition.  She jumped off my bed, on Mother's Day, as she always has, but landed crooked.  As, luck would have it, she really hurt her back, and was paralyzed, from the injury at her waist, on down.  After the initial harm, and her terrifying screaming, which didn't last as long as it seemed, Paddi, never cried with pain.  Of course, our friend Ruth, took us to the Emergency Animal Hospital, and Paddi was checked out. Not much they could do, so with their care, we brought her home, where she was happy to be.  My new vet, gave me an address for wheels, (K-9 Carts West), now, renamed 'Pet Mobility Rehab Center' and I was able to get a small cart for $340. It is so cute, adjustable, with choice of blue or red, and different sizes.  She took to it like she had been born on it, and otherwise, she was happy and healthy. Now, for the really good news, last month I went over to my son's, he'd made a ramp for her, and she started using her legs. Yes, she staggers, and sits down a lot, but just keeps on truckin'. So, with the exception of having to wear diapers, she is back to normal. So long to all, here's praying all your animals are well, Paddi's keeper, Beryl

Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.

Good to hear the Paddi update.  I bet she can even do "zoomies" with her new wheels!
