Porky's new food.

Its not the Blue Buffalo food we were hoping for though.  Porky's vet thinks he may have gotten over his chicken allergy and wants us to try another food for a bit to see how he handles it.  I'm hoping Porky does okay with it, but I'm really nervous about it since the food has chicken in it.   We are slowly adding it in with his old food so we don't shock Porky's tummy.  We are watching him VERY closely for any signs of allergy issues with the food.   

So far, he seems to be doing just fine after 3 days on the new stuff mixed with his old.   I don't really like how much grain is in this food, but everything else seems great.    Its the Whole Earth Farms Adult formula.   The vet told us to try it for a month unless we have problems.  He also said if we have any issues with the food, he'll refund the money we paid for it.    :apls:   If Porky can handle this food with chicken in it, we should be able to have more options on what the little guy can eat!!   Our vet said that he is pretty sure that the chicken allergy was a misdiagnosis by Porky's old vet.   Porky never had a formal allergy testing done, the old vet just made the assumption that chicken was the offending allergy.   

We'll keep you posted on how this new food works out for Porky's tummy and skin issues.    :xfinger:

Mommy here.  Don't believe them.  They have gotten quite ROUND on their present diet.  I really need to cut down but oh how I hate the L@@K of two pathetic puppy dawgs who fake that they are STARVING.
