Poor little Simon is just shaking away right now. He's tucked in behind me on the computer chair so I have to lean forward.

I guess I'll have to wait before I go run my errands.I'd feel to guilty leaving him by himself scared.

This is a bad one. He's really shaking hard and panting.

Funny you mentioned Rescue Remedy.Have had much success with it for our Yorkie,Benji.Works well when Benji gets to stressing out...it never occurred to me to try it with Simon during a T-Storm,i should have a chance to try it in what looks like about an hour or so.

Hope the rescue Remedy will help you pup my motto is try it a few times if it helps great if it does not just mark it off the list. You would be surprised what you can find on any subject if you google it.Good luck you must feel bad when your pup is so scared hope something will help no fun being scared.Papbouv

Parker usually doesn't mind a storm. He barely notices. But last night he was frantic -- pacing, crying, running back and forth. I held him and tried to distract him with a treat but he was not having any part of that. Eventually he did settle. This morning we heard that a tornado touched down not far from where we live. I wonder if that's what he was fussing about.

Poor Simon. Hope that rescue remedy could help. Funny thing here, our Max just ignored the thunder, but little bit scared or annoyed with the vacuum!  :dontknow:

If you google the Anxiety wrap it is a coat like wrap you put on the dog before storms suppose to have light compression like getting a hug also suppose to help with the static electric in the air before & during storms. I have never used them but have read about them.Might  be worth checking into hope the rescue Remedy helped on the next storm.
