Hi Noel & Scootr Man-

I still lurk, but don't post much anymore, not much free time these days...So glad Scootr is doing so much better.

We used to give my daughter's horse 30 mondo pills twice a day, after bashing my thumb with the mortar & pestle, I switched to pliers.  They smash big pills quite nicely, with far less mess and/or damage to the digits.

Have you considered swimming Scootr in the bathtub?  You will have to decide if you will get in with him...

Sounds like you will get the ramp thing accomplished.  We've been known to pile pillows in a ramplike shape, then wrap with a heavy bedspread.  Sort of tacky looking but works.  We just fall over it a lot, but no hard edges.

Suzie, thank you so much for taking the time to post when you're so busy!  I hadn't considered the bathtub for Scooter; but I'm more than willing to do so.  What a great idea!  So is the one about making a ramp from pillows...I'd try that as well.
