We had to get our teeth cleaned the other day.  We had to go all the way to Anchorage because that is where our favorite vet in the world is.  And true to form, everytime mom has to drive to Anchorage we get this great big snowstorm.  She should just not ever go!  Took us two hours to go the 50 miles to Anchorage, and boy was it icy, we heard mom praying that we would get there in one piece without any dings or dents.  We made it and mom left us at the vet.  She then went shopping and to her doc appt.  Then she had a 2.5 hour lunch with our adopted auntie Linda.  It snowed all day long.  Mom came to get us at 2pm and we were rearing to go.  Willy had to have two teeth pulled and get a wart taken off his head, he got one single stitch.  We got home and it only took us one hour.  We were starving and mom made us scrambled eggs.  Later we got some applesauce with our meds.

Mom is going to leave us for a long time again.  On March 22nd she will fly to AZ to help her mom, who is having surgery on March 25th.  We are not sure when we will see our mom again.  Papa Dan is going to take good care of us, it will just be us boys hanging out at the house.  Anyway, not too much else going on with us.  We just thought we would check in.

Dear Willy and Alex,

Snowstorms are SCARY.  My mom is too chicken to drive in them.  Your mom is brave!

I am sorry to hear the V-E-T stole some of Willy's teeth.  Grrrr, I hate it when that happens.  But hooray for scrambled eggs and apple sauce and hanging out with Papa Dan!

I will send rays and Mom will send good thoughts for your mom's mom and the surgery.

xoxo,

You guys are very very brave, first with the snow storm then you teeth cleaning. You two have great responsibility when mom leaves, make sure your dad will not be messing around. Praying for your human grandma's surgery success and recovery..

I think you had to drive in the snow so you would have sympathy again for those in the lower 48 who were bombarded with it this year! The Pennsylvania and mid-Atlantic bunch have probably been envious of YOU this winter! Even S.C. has seen snow twice within a couple of weeks. Granted it was on the ground and gone within 24 hours the first time and 8 the second, but, when you are in the south, you aren't too picky!
I'm glad the boys did well at the vet and you had time for lunch with your friend. Lunch with friends is one of those important things in life and a huge necessity.
I will be praying for your mom as she goes through her surgery and her recovery. Knowing you are there will be a big comfort. I'm sure you will also bring some comic relief as you have to adapt to those warm Arizona temperatures in April! Your mom may keep her mind off how she feels trying to come up with ways to keep you cool!!
On a serious note, has she tolerated the treatments well so far?
