Taffy says the only white stuff she wants to see underfoot is sand from the beach.  Nice warm sand.

Mom says....Hey....don't you know snow is a four letter word?  Been there, done that.  The last straw was the year we were having a lovely blizzard...already had 12 inches on the ground, and then we had a thunderstorm cross over the top of the blizzard.  Oh joy.  The minimum on the ground anywhere was a flat 3 feet...drifts up to 8 feet....city came to a total standstill for a week.  Ah...snow.  We see it on tv....and it's like an accident.  You know you shouldn't look, but you can't help yourself.  :verdict:

I played in the MT snow yesterday too. It was fun for 5 whole minutes.  But I don't like the cold neither.  I won't get outta my mamas bed this morning.  The mean weather man says we gotta have more cold and snow too.  Dat's not fair.  Those other datsuns are playin on the beach.

awww, she is cute.  I bet her fur keeps her pretty warm (at least for a little while).  My dachsies have no experience with snow, but husband and I are from Missouri so we have seen plenty.  I much prefer snow to ICE STORMS.

I don't like coats ....... or sweaters .... when Mama puts one on me I just stand there like a statue.  Mama says that's why we are letting my hairy coat grow out for the winter.

Nothing works better than a REAL coat of your own !!!!  Sure don't want any pretty girl statues !!!!  Is there still snow today?

Mine are fashionably fuzzy right now as well! They do like their coats though

My wirehair, Harry, looked just like Ellie.  Does Ellie have the silky wire coat, or the more coarse coat?  Harry's was silky, and he'd get snow balled up in his paws something fierce.  Does that happen to Ellie?

Ellie has a soft coat.  She doesn't seem to have any trouble with the snow balling . She loves the snow ..... if I stayed outside to play with her she would stay outside forever.
