Last night I was on the computer Buddy in his bed and Patches in the big bed water bed thought I heard Patches puking but turned around to look looked like she was laying down sleeping. Kept smelling poop thought it was a Buddy fart Dobes are notorious for their farts but have not been having that problem with him.I shut down the computer so getting ready to get in bed turn the covers back there is a large pile of brown stuff in my bed.Liquid type stuff so now not sure if it is diarrhea or vomit how ever she did it she did it under the covers somehow. Will have to keep an eye on her she slept in the crate the rest of the night now trying to wash up all the bedding.Anyone delt with anything like that???

Anyone heard from Deedee & Miss Halie has been the whole month of January her last post was at Christmas time???? Sending Rays & Hugs to both just in case she needs them.

Had an issue with Parker a year ago. Acute vomitting and diareahea. We think he ate bird poop and picked up an intestinal parasite. Don't fool around longer then a day, and if the over the counter stuff doesn't work, get him to the vet for a stool sample, and blood work. Make sure Patches doesn't become dehydrated. Little dogs get dehydrated very quickly. Anyways it took Parker a week to recover, and my wallet was about $950.00 lighter, and his housebreaking routine was set back about 2 months. yikes.

dis is Parker:  you gets better weal soon Patches!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bandaid:

Thanks so far not ill today, last night the liquid stuff that came out of that little dog was amazing large amount. After working as a Nurses aide 31 years I have seen allot of that kind of stuff.Yes I have been watching for dehydration know it does not take a little dog to get into trouble my little 7# Papillon had Esophageal Reflux disease all of her life gave her Pedilite with a syringe and Nutri Cal to keep her going during the sick spells when she would not eat for three days at a time.I watch gums,do the skin test and really watch them close I hope Patches is over what ever made her sick. Thanks for the input about the dehydration one never knows what another member may know or not know.I still think what ever the brown stuff was leaning towards liquid poop smelled like it looked like it too, gave a little tiny bit of Chicken and white rice held off on the Pepito for now will see how she is tonight and in the morning.

So far no more episodes have been feeding her light of course with all the snow & ice it may have upset her routine then not being outside as much too.Buddy woke me up at 4:30am to go out but did not see what he did so it may just be the weather has them upset.?

Patches has not done anything else did take her by the vets she weighs 13.8 pounds now but it is a heck of away too loose weight I'm happy she lost some weight but not if it was from being ill.Would not hurt her to loose a little more weight to keep back issues at bay we are suppose to get more snow & cold weather coming in.Papbouv
