Winter Time is on the Way.....

Winter is coming....we are to have snow sometime today......the boys are preparing for the winter.....Sarge snuggled in each and every quilt as I work on them.....Duggie who is in his sweater all day until bedtime.......then both are completely under the blankies!

The temperatures are down into the 20's at night and in the 30's during the day. We feel lucky if we have a day with temps in the 40's.......it turned so cold that the turning colors of leaves was stopped mid-way. Leaves on the trees or for that matter on the ground are half fall colors and half green/red/brown, whatever the original color was......it's something!

Where did you find Duggie's sweater?? Its adorable. Porky has been wearing his during the day now too.

The snow has started to fall..........

I got Duggie's sweater at Target. He loves it....when it's time to put it on, he comes right over and puts his head through the neck of it! Sarge prefers to go "neked" and instead snuggle in the blankets.

Where to you live that it is so cold and snowy already? I don't think I could take it if the snow and temps in the 20's started this early!

Porky Pie, my hubby, and I live in Nebraska. This is our third encounter with the white stuff this year! It feels like January already around here. The storm we are in right now is the biggest yet with 12-18 inches expected. So far we have about 8 inches with drifts and wind. Tomorrow is supposed to be back in the 40s. Our roads are awful right now, but Colorado and Wyoming are getting hit a lot harder than here.

You boys are just the cutest, you look very snuggly warm in your blankie and sweater! Very handsome too! I can't believe you are getting threatened with snow already I saw it on the weather forecast here this morning I always check out yours to see what you will be dealing with that day. I want summer back too! We aren't getting snow yet but it's really wet and cold out there ugh.

Quilts and Dachies just go together don't they and most of the time you have not even finished it before they put their dibs in for it.
As we are the reverse we are getting warmer, yesterday Oliver went into the river VOLUNTARY and got WET. Amy justed wanted to know why he did it as it was water.
