Amy going into get an enema this morning updated

The little pooper has not pooped, when we went yesterday ( approx 24hr no poo) they gave us coloxial, parrifin oil and I gave her prunes to no avail so it looks like a clean out. We think madam found a bone at my sisters.
I'm dreading them putting her under as I have to make sure they know she has had back surgery and her front right shoulde is not to good. Specialist in Melb said to tell them to give her a mild sedative as she wakes up as thats when they tend to try and stand and also to give them plenty of fluids and I will remember to take her own anti skid for in the cage.
They think it is all a combination of not walking as much due to ollie, and change from R/d to Joint formula.

update. They took her in for two hours on drip then tried to get her to go.........NO WAY so they had to clear her out............a 4 inch poo, We got her home at 6pm as they wanted to get more fluid in her. They also did her teeth, I know sore at both ends. She is one day home and still has not been, but it will probably take a day to go through, if she does not go I'll speak to the vet, I think the trying before was painful so I think she is trying to avoid it.

Might try the old dog show trick to get dogs to poop take a paper match place the non red end into the dog should go poop also Pumpkin is good to get them to go and also good if they have diarrhea.Have you looked on line for any natural herbal items that might make her go. I know with people too much laxatives or enemas can make them depend on them. Good Luck with the pooping

Yes how are things going did Amy make her move? papbov I used that trick with Jessie just before going into the obedience ring to make sure she had gone. Works like a charm. Once I ran out of matches so quickly asked another competitior if she had a match I could borrrow, not knowing why I needed it she said "No but I have a lighter". (Um...no thanks!)

I Done it big time, and mum yelled it possibliy to half of east gippsland...............how embarising, she could have walked round to the front of the house and told dad, but no she had to yell with a YAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHoooooooooooooooooooo at the end ....................parents

Can not remember the story but went something like this.The body was asking who was in charge the brain said I'm,no another part said they were the pooper end said they were they all laughed.Well the pooper end got mad shut down the brain soon had a headache the stomach was uncomfotable.They all agreed the popper was in charge who went back to work everyone was happy.

I could put the match in Beau's butt and light the red end - I betcha he'd poop AN' pee, iffn' he ever stopped runnin'!!
