we´re on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, Altea is a small fishing village one hour north of Alicante and two hours south of Valencia.  Don´t know if you´re heading our way but you´d be welcome to come and see us a get a dachsie fix before you continue your trip.  We have a spare king size bed and spare bathroom.

If you´re heading to Madrid and need any info I´ll be able to help since I lived and worked there for just over 3 years.  Ditto for Scotland and UK - I´m a Scot originally - and for most of Europe.  Sorry not to spot your grand tour plans earlier, I´d be happy to help out in any way.
