Bad Habits?

Finnegan likes to bite his nails! He spends like twently minutes per foot, licking and licking and then nibbling on his nails! Is this strange or has anyone else had any experiences with Fur Kids being nail biters?

Duggie is my nail biter/trimmer of his nails.  And, he usually does it after everyone has gone to bed....you generally start to hear the crunch crunch!

Roscoe Angel used to chew on his toenails.  Kept them nice and short.

Angel Eddie was a nail biter, and a paw licker. Parker does too, but he is not as obsessive as Eddie was. Be sure to inspect his paws daily to ensure there is no infection between his toes. Eddie always had infections.  Sometimes it's a sign of allergies.

Bonnie is my toenail biter.  One thing about it, her nails are almost always short, so she gets to skip a time or two going to the groomer for toe chops.

I heard that being a sign of allergies. But he has done it since the day we got him and the Vet said not to worry. I think he just likes the feel of it, because today my boyfriend just started rubbing between Fin's toes and Fin just starting licking the other foot and didnt take his toes away from Pas.

Its still funny though, he takes "Toe Time" very seriously.

My two "crunch and munch" on their toenails....and yes....it usually occurs right at bedtime :verdict:

Both my girls "groom" their toes. That crunching sound drives me up a wall!!!

Max was extreme toe biter before, just when he learn to dig in mom's backyard it was lessen.
