I don't know if I ever mentioned how scared Murphy used to be when I first got him.  He was four months old, and he used to make a full circuit of the room around the edges to avoid me, and then once he got used to me, just about anyone else, too.  He's always been more afraid of men than women.  And that's why this photo makes me want to cry and laugh with happiness.  That's my dad, and Murphy just adores him.  It took him a few weeks to get used to my dad, but now he just cuddles with hiim on the recliner whenever he sees the opportunity.

discussed this issue with Colleen, the monsters breeder as all mine were scared of men, and we thought it could be that most breeders are female, all came round in their time. Colleen now has some some male helpers daily so her lot get used to both sexes.
Murphy you are a brave little man, grandpa's and nannies are great, you tend to get more treats from them.

Murphy and his grandpa both look so peaceful.  I love to see a dog and a person who look so happy and comfortable in eachother's company.  Good for you Murphy!

Heartwarming news and picture.  Your father looks like an expert cuddler just like my father was.  Murphy obviously knows his place now and looks beautifully at peace.

Porky is the same way. He used to be afraid of my father and my husband's father for the longest time.     Now, we can't get Porky away from them when we go visit.    That is a sweet picture of Murphy and his grandpa!!
