 Nick and I bought a new camera, I've been playing around with it trying to learn the ins and outs of it  :verdict: . Its a Olympus 620. We down loaded the 70 odd that I had taken . One of its plus's is you can actually take a photo of Amy as usually she is a black blur

Beautiful pictures, Roberta.  They are incredibly clear-I love the photos of Amy-you can see the detail in her coat-those black dogs are so hard to photograph, so it's nice to see a good picture!

The Fur Kids look great a black dog is hard to take a picture of if they have a shinny coat it helps Bouviers are the worst no shinny coat.Papbouv.

It is amazing how much detail you can see on Amy now. She is even more beautiful than I already thought she was. I just love her expressions. I can't wait to see the other pictures you will be posting. I'm sure the ones of your view will be incredible.

Spanish Teckels

The pics are fantastic of both of them but the ones of Amy are amazing.  It´s great to see her in such detail.  Looks like you´re well in command of the new camera quickly.

It's amazing what a change in cameras does for your ability as a photographer.   When I went from the Fuji Fine Pix to the Nikon D90, it was like night and day.  Love the pics of your pair!

Wow. Congrats on the new flashy toy! What a difference that makes! I agree I feel like I know your pair even better now. Awesome quality. Can I please borrow your 2 for a cuddle???

had an epiphany yesterday as my manual shots were a bit blurred and realised with me having one contact in for distance and one for reading. the reading one is in my dominant eye my view finder eye duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
It also allows you to set 3 personal programs which at first I thought I wold not use, but I think I will set one up for low light if not you are forever going into the electronic putting the flash on and off, as I do a bit of sunrises and set shots and it keeps popping on.
All I want now is a wide angle and a higher zoom............not much to ask................Teresa, I may have to leave the brochure out for Nick for Christmas

Uh oh...that's how it starts.  They always have one more tempting lens out there. All I can say is if I was married I probably wouldn't be anymore and Hallie is always happy for me when I get a new lens!

That's too funny about your contacts. It always looks blurry to me thru the window thingy! I haven't tried the program mode I usually shoot Av or sometimes Tv (sometimes manual too come to think of it!). Sounds like you are learning your camera well!

We do have  a multiplier for the om series so I may get the thingy that converts it to the Digital series so I may be able to bargain with that for the wide angle, I'm going to try the panoramic to-day or to-morrow as it will be great for the front view.
