The Beutautiful Scenery Around Northern Illinois!

Most of you on here know that I live in Northern Illinois.Well today my Mom and I had to go to the town where my Mom grew up and I just could not get over the scenery.I've traveled the road we took most of my life when we would come from Connecticut to visit my Grandparents and didn't realize how beautiful it was.Illinois is nothing but flat land and a couple places we passed today we could see for miles.
                          Not only is the scenery beautiful but the trees are also;in the different shades of green.There are some that when they were trimmed they look like different animals.For instance one thats a couple blocks away from my house looks like Wile E.Coyote from Bugs Bunny cartoons,and one noit to far from where I live looks like a little kid looking at a kitty.In the fall when some of the trees change color the shades of orange and reds are so beautiful.

Isn't it amazing how beautiful some places are?   I love being outside. My mom used to tell me she was going to put up a tent in the backyard and I could live there all summer.   (when I was little)       My husband and I love to go driving in the sandhills which are just northeast of us.  They are so beautiful and their history is amazing!!
