She got the scare of her life today.  I put her outside to play, yes, she goes out by herself now, and when I went to let her in she disappeared behind the garage.  Well, mom went to get her and she had disappeared, nowhere to be found.  Then I saw her in the neighbors yard and she couldn't find her way back into hers.  Poor baby was running and crying to the point the neighbor came out and got her for me.  The neighbor was really nice and Danni seems to like her.  By the time she was handed back to me Danni had quieted down and seemed to like the neighbor.  So I brought Danni in the house and found the hole in the fence and covered it, no more bunnies in the yard or puppies going next door, thankfully.

Danni here:  I was so scared, I could see mama, but couldn't get to her.  Then this nice lady talked to me very nicely and picked me up and gave me back to mama.  Now I'm sitting on mama's shoulder dictating while she types.  But I won't let her take my picture so you'll just have to 'magine how I look.

Danni, We call Schatzi our Dachsoudini for Houdini. She occasionally will find (or make) a hole in the fix. She only does it when she wants to go after a C-A-T. Could care less about going after people. I think I have most of the spots she can escape from covered now, but you never know.
Please don't try that again. It really scares that mammas and you really do get the best loving and the best treats at home.

I have never heard her cry so pitifully, it broke my heart.  But now she cant get through it I put an old piece of plexi glass over the hole, but that meas no bunnies in the yard either.
